Peregrin Software ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS applications ("Apps") available on the Apple App Store.

Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of our Apps.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

• Name and email address when you contact our support team
• Feedback, bug reports, or other messages you send us
• App-specific content you create — stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud account

Information Collected Automatically

• Crash reports (only if you have opted into sharing with developers via iOS Settings)
• Aggregated App Store analytics provided by Apple (not personally identifiable)
• Device type, OS version, and app version for compatibility

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not store your personal content on our servers
• We do not collect location data
• We do not use advertising SDKs or tracking pixels
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing

3. How We Use Your Information

• Respond to your support requests and inquiries
• Diagnose and fix bugs or crashes
• Improve the features and performance of our Apps
• Communicate important updates (if you have opted in)
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Data Storage & Security

User-generated content is stored locally on your device or, if you enable iCloud sync, in your personal iCloud account governed by Apple's privacy policies. Peregrin Software does not have access to your iCloud data.

Support submissions are stored in a secure, password-protected database on our private server using encrypted connections (HTTPS) and prepared SQL statements.

5. Third-Party Services

Our Apps may integrate with Apple services governed by Apple's Privacy Policy:

• iCloud — optional data sync
• Apple Calendar / Reminders — optional integration in Aerie Planner
• StoreKit / In-App Purchases — handled entirely by Apple
• Apple Crash Reporter — opt-in crash diagnostics

We do not embed any third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Apps are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us at support@peregrinsoftware.com if you believe your child has provided us personal information.

7. Your Rights & Choices

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion — request deletion of your personal data
• Opt-Out — opt out of crash reporting via iOS Settings → Privacy → Analytics
• Portability — request your data in a portable format

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale. Peregrin Software does not sell personal information.

9. International Users (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our legal basis for processing your data is our legitimate interest in providing and improving our Apps.

10. Data Retention

We retain support ticket information for up to 2 years to assist with follow-up inquiries. Crash diagnostic data is anonymized and retained for up to 12 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of our Apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
